PTA
The Plymouth Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PES PTA) is an active, vibrant organization of parents and teachers who meet regularly to discuss needs in the school, and ways the PTA can support those needs. This is an open parent group who meets monthly. You can find us the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm. When the school is open, we meet in the Library Learning Commons. If the school is closed, we meet via video chat with Google Meet. We support regular fundraising efforts and use those funds to assist teachers and programs within the school. The PTA hosts events such as a welcome back to school barbecue and a mid-winter dance. We provide food or supplies at school-sponsored events, run a funding program to assist teachers with classroom supplies, organize bi-annual book fairs, and much more! Annual dues are $6.25. We welcome new members, love to hear your ideas and are eager for you to volunteer with PTA events! We have a Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/170838543549383/posts/829513054348592/?sfnsn=mo and an email list for anyone who wishes to pay dues and stay up to date on PTA activities, even if you are not able to participate in the meetings.
